2. 행사 내용
룩셈부르크 경제부 산하기관인 룩셈부르크 우주기구(Luxembourg Space Agency)가 2018년 11월 27~28일 양일 룩셈부르크에서 우주 컨퍼런스인 ‘뉴스페이스 유럽(NewSpace Europe)’을 개최한다. 뉴스페이스 유럽은 우주 산업의 경제적 기회에 초점을 맞춘 유럽 내 유일한 우주 컨퍼런스이다. 2018년도 컨퍼런스에서는 “장벽을 뛰어넘어(Breaking barriers)”라는 주제로 발사, 원격 감지, 우주 경제, 투자, 통신에서의 장벽 극복 방법에 대해 논의한다.
컨퍼런스에는 에어버스(Airbus Defence and Space) 우주 시스템 사업부 수석 부사장 니콜라스 샤무시(Nicolas Chamussy), 블루오리진(Blue Origin) 영업/마케팅/고객경험 담당 부사장 클레이 모우리(Clay Mowry), 에스이에스(SES) 사장 스티브 콜라(Steve Collar) 등 다양한 연사들의 기조연설이 준비되어있다. 참가 신청은 뉴스페이스 유럽 컨퍼런스 공식 홈페이지(www.newspace-europe.lu)를 통해서 신청할 수 있다.
NewSpace Europe is the only annual space conference in Europe to focus solely on the NewSpace industry and the economic opportunity of space. Hosted by the Luxembourg Space Agency in Luxembourg City, NewSpace Europe 2018 will center on the theme of “Breaking Barriers”, discussing ways current barriers are overcome in launch, remote sensing, space-based economy, investment, and communications.
Through engaging conference sessions and unique networking opportunities, participants will have the opportunity to discover and align with the people, technologies and ideas from across space and other diverse markets that are shaping and leading the newspace industry.
