Registrations are open to join the event and meet the graduates of the Fit 4 Start #6 edition (Spring 2018) as well as the most promising applicants Fit 4 Start #7 programme (Autumn 2018) who will compete for a place on the programme. To drive economic diversification, the major development this year was to add a second priority sector to the programme: Health Technologies (HealthTech). On this occasion, a pilot will be launched selecting another 5 HealthTech start-ups in addition to the 10 start-ups from the ICT sector.

At the end of the latest application period, a record number of 226 applications (188 for ICT and 38 for HealthTech) from 38 different countries have been received. In the end, 62 start-ups (47 ICTs and 15 HealthTech) were selected to pitch on October 4 in front of the audience and a jury. The same night, this expert jury will reveal the names of the 15 lucky Fit 4 Start participants who will kick-off the programme in the autumn.

This Selection & Graduation Day will also be an opportunity to reward the start-ups who have successfully completed the Fit 4 Start #6 programme after four months of intensive coaching.

Online registrations for the Fit 4 Start Selection & Graduation Day on October 4 are now open. Admission is free, but registration is mandatory and space is limited.

About the Fit 4 Start programme

Launched by the Ministry of the Economy and managed by Luxinnovation in collaboration with Technoport and Nyuko, the Fit 4 Start programme helps young innovative companies to launch their business from Luxembourg, transforming innovative ideas and the project leaders’ strong will to succeed into companies with high growth potential. Initially open only to start-ups in the ICT sector, Fit 4 Start now also targets companies active in health technologies.
