지코어, 국내 최초 GPU 전용 데이터센터 개소
지코어는 2014년에 설립된 룩셈부르크에 본사를 둔 기업으로 작년에 한국 지사를 개소했으며 NHN클라우드와 전략적 파트너십을 체결했다. 이에 힘입어 국내 최초로 엔비디아 H100을 기반 GPU 전용 데이터센터를 4월 15일 개소한다.
On Thursday 4 April, H.E. Jacques Flies, the Ambassador-designate of Luxembourg to the Republic of Korea, attended Gcore’s media conference and he gave congratulatory remarks and delivered words to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation between Luxembourg and South Korea.
Gcore, the Luxembourg-based cloud provider, announced the opening of its first GPU-focused data center on April 15 in Incheon, South Korea. The Incheon Center is Gcore’s first data center to open in the Asia-Pacific region. The reason that Gcore chose Korea is because of the escalating demand to implement and utilize AI from Korean companies.
