타이어 업체 굿이어(Goodyear), 룩셈부르크 공장에 3천 6백만 달러 투자
세계적인 타이어업체 굿이어(Goodyear)가 룩셈부르크 콜마르-베르그(Colmar-Berg) 지역의 생산시설에 3600만 달러를 투자한다. 이번 투자는 오프로드 타이어 생산 증강과 공정 개선하는 것을 목표로 한다.
Global tyre company Goodyear will invest $36 million in its production facilities in Colmar-Berg, Luxembourg. The investment aims at increasing production of off-the-road tyres and improve processes.
This major investment will be done in Goodyear‘s manufacturing plant for off-the-road (OTR) and medium truck tyres.
“The demand for premium OTR tires continues to grow worldwide thanks to the expansion of mining and construction operations, as well as developments in the port and industrial segments,” said David Anckaert, vice president of Goodyear’s commercial tyre business in Europe. “This important investment in our operations will allow us to respond to the growing demand and to better serve the daily operations of our customers in the field with a complete portfolio of high-quality products and total mobility solutions both for trucks and off-the-road machines.”
