룩셈부르크, 교통 인프라에 38억 유로 지출 계획
룩셈부르크를 교통 혁신의 실험실로 바꾸고자 하는 전략의 일환으로, 정부는 향후 10년에 걸쳐 철도망을 업그레이드하고 현대적 교통 터미널을 개발하는데 38억 유로를 투자할 계획이다. 메르테르항은 베텡부르크 복합 터미널과 연결되며, 철도 사업자 CFL이 이 허브와 중국으로 이어지는 새로운 ‘실크로드’ 철도 노선을 연결할 계획에 착수했다.
As part of the government’s strategy to turn the grand duchy into a laboratory for transport innovation, Luxembourg is planning to invest €3.8bn over the next 10 years to upgrade its railway network and develop modern transportation terminals. The Port of Mertert will be linked with the Bettembourg multimodal terminal, with rail operator CFL working on plans to connect the hub with a new ‘Silk Road’ rail route to China.
