벤치마킹하기 좋은 국가, 룩셈부르크
룩셈부르크는 전세계 여러 평가 지표에서 벤치마킹 국가의 좋은 예로서 우수한 순위를 차지했다. 세계보건기구(World Health Organisation)가 실시한 ‘15세에서 29세 사이의 젊은 사람들이 건강한 삶을 유지하기에 좋은 국가’ 평가에서 룩셈부르크는 전세계 2위를 차지했다. 룩셈부르크에는 실제로 경제, 비지니스, 법학 전공자들의 비율이 39%로 매우 높다.
이 외에도 룩셈부르크는 세계지식재산기구(World Intellectual Property Organization), 코넬대학교(Cornell University), 인시아드(INSEAD)가 발표한 세계 혁신 지수(Global Innovation Index 2017) 평가에서 전세계 8위로 상위권에 올랐으며, 1인당 생산성이 가장 높은 나라로 시간대비 생산성이 가장 높은 효율적인 국가로 평가 받고 있다.
룩셈부르크는 시장 개방 지수(Open Markets Index) 평가에서는 전세계 3위, 유럽 연합국 내에서 1위를 차지했으며, 개방과 관련한 평가 지수 외 룩셈부르크인들은 유럽 슬로베니아인 다음으로 다양한 문화 행사에 참가하는 유럽인들로 인식되고 있다.
유럽연합집행기관(European Commission)의 조사에 따르면, 룩셈부르크는 가정에서 광범위한 광섬유 네트워크를 사용하는 인프라가 잘 갖추어진 국가이기도 하며, 여러 분야에서 룩셈부르크는 우수한 입지를 다졌다.
The summer months have seen the publication of new international benchmarks highlighting the deep-rooted nature of Luxembourg’s values:
Reliable, according to the Guardian, which has analysed World Health Organisation data to rank Luxembourg as the second-best country in the world for young people between 15 and 29 to live a healthy life. Also, according to the OECD, it’s where the part of economics, business and law graduates is the highest, at 39%.
Dynamic, say two rankings that place Luxembourg among the world’s most innovative countries: in 8th position in the European Commission’s most recent European Innovation Scoreboard, and 12th in the Global Innovation Index 2017 compiled by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Cornell University and INSEAD.
And, according to Expert Market, Luxembourg is also the most productive of the 35 countries it has analysed around the world.
Open, according to the latest Open Markets Index published by the International Chamber of Commerce, which places Luxembourg among the world’s three most open economies, and first in the European Union. In another measure of openness, Luxembourg residents are identified by Eurostat as the Europeans who attend the most live events each year, after the Slovenes.
