룩셈부르크, 유럽연합(EU)에서 성별 임금격차 최저
유럽연합(EU)의 통계 기관인 유로스타트 (Eurostat)가 소득 불평등에 대한 수치를 발표했다. 남녀 간 성별 임금격차는 0.7%로 룩셈부르크가 EU 회원국 중 가장 적게 나타났다.
The unadjusted gender pay gap, as measured by Eurostat, shows the difference between the average gross hourly earnings of men and women. The indicator has been calculated for companies with 10 or more employees.
Globally, in 2020, women’s gross hourly earnings were on average 13% below those of men in the EU. This is an improvement from 2012, when the difference was as much as 16.4%.
The smallest pay gaps were measured in Luxembourg (0.7%), Romania (2.4%) and Slovenia (3.1%).
